Do you really know why you prefer REST over RPC?
Because not every operation is CURD against one resource.
E.g. sending money, transfer item, bulk modify A while update B, etc.

Sending money and transfer item
are
a create operation against one resource. The same resourse actually, called transfer. That records who transfers what to whom and how much. Thats exactly how it is done in banking.
