I've never been a coffee drinker, so I'd sometimes park where I can pick up a signal, using my vehicle as a power source, but since I got a "4G" mobile hotspot I no longer use free wifi and I have the option of smoking while in the confines of my automobile as well as a change of scenery as the situation permits.

I occasionally go to a local Starbucks and work (especially if I'm out and about and can't make it back home between errands). Wifi is usually pretty bad, and I prefer to tether 99% of the time.


And all the while using a resource that the actual customers pay for.

Although I'm sure next will come the claims that an open Wifi network, rather than a mere administrative convenience, is an "invitation".
