An interesting exercise I suppose but solving a completely non-existent problem. The problem is sites departing from the more than adequate password requirement of 6 chars and nothing more.

Also, I hate input fields like that where the label disappears immediately (I don't even really like that label positioning in the first place). If you want to improve usability, fix that instead.
