i used to use ZF1. it was a good framework back in its days. than ZF2 come along with its overcomplicated boilerplate configuration and its backwards incompatibility. it was unusable with almost non existing community, so I took a time to look elsewhere and switched. I am happy now with my current framework and can't care less for ZF.


As someone who doesn't generally like PHP very much, I have to say that ZF1 was quite nice because of its simplicity. Too bad they abandoned it.

Now ZF2-3 have nothing to distinguish themselves from the other frameworks.
