Among other things, Monaco is a web page component, while Notepad++ is a program you download.
I'm guessing you glanced at the page and thought the editors were screenshots.

No, I actually switched between some dialects, java/json, and it looked similar to codemirror. Somehow I compared it to notepad++ which I use for locally stored files. I guess someone already asked, how is it different from codemirror.
